SPECIALE "Attività scolastiche di gruppo" presso la Scuola Partner "Gimnazjum Ziemi" -Gniewkowo-



Mercoledì 6 ottobre.
L'intera mattinata è stata dedicata al lavoro del "Multilingual Dictionary". Gli alunni sono stati adeguatamente divisi in gruppi composti da studenti di diversa nazionalità ed hanno compilato un "dizionario a più voci" su ambiti linguistici stabiliti: cibo, numeri, casa, parole brevi, condizioni di salute e modi di dire. L'intento è stato quello di far "scoprire" agli alunni le diverse Lingue Straniere, partendo da una matrice comune: la LINGUA INGLESE.

Gli insegnanti hanno distribuito i fogli, spiegato le attività da svolgere e vigilato sul corretto svolgimento del lavoro e, ove richiesto, supportato gli studenti nel lavoro di comprensione, trasformazione e compilazione. E' stato un momento nel quale docenti ed studenti si sono così integrati che alla fine non si distinguevano più polacchi, inglesi, baschi, turchi o italiani ma si vedevano solo alunni ed insegnanti impegnati in una attività laboratoriale di gruppo.

Terminate le attività, che hanno portato via circa due ore, sono stati raccolti i fogli che poi, controllati dai docenti, verranno pubblicati in formato elettronico ed inseriti tra i prodotti finali del nostro stesso Progetto Comenius.

Giovedì 7 ottobre.
Alle ore 8:00 tutti gli insegnanti si sono ritrovati a scuola - GIMNAZJUM NR 1 IM. ZIEMI KUJAWSKIEJ - e le nostre alunne, nonché tutti gli altri alunni inglesi, spagnoli e turchi, ospitati in famiglia, sono arrivati con i loro partner polacchi.

Subito dopo ha avuto inizio la "Cerimonia di Accoglienza" ufficiale: La Preside della Scuola ha rinnovato il benvenuto agli insegnanti ed agli studenti stranieri chiamandoli uno per uno, e per delegazione, ad "intingere il pane nel sale", segno di ospitalità ed amicizia.

Ha, così, preso la parola un rappresentante del Governo locale ed infine il Coordinatore Europeo del Progetto Comenius, il prof. Josè Maria Fernandez, che ha parlato del Progetto stesso e ringraziato la Scuola Polacca per la calorosa accoglienza da noi tutti ricevuta.

E' seguito un piccolo spettacolo musicale a cura degli alunni della scuola; poi alunni ed insegnanti, accompagnati dagli alunni polacchi coinvolti nel Progetto, sono stati condotti a visitare gli ambienti della scuola.

La differenza più evidente dal "punto di vista italiano" è stato constatare che ogni insegnante dispone di una sua propria aula adeguatamente attrezzata e che sono gli alunni, di ora in ora, a spostarsi da un ambiente all'altro. Si è, così, visitata l'aula di storia, geografia, polacco, inglese, assistendo alle lezioni in corso, nonchè il laboratorio di chimica e di scienze naturali, dove le nostre alunne hanno trovato in piccolo un vero e proprio "zoo di animali vivi" che è stato, forse, l'evento che, maggiormente, ha suscitato la loro curiosità.

Il gruppo Comenius si è poi riunito nell'aula ad esso dedicata per iniziare una nuova attività di gruppo: ogni delegazione ha composto un cartellone con cinque foto - già scattate per tempo e portate con sé - di luoghi tipici legati al proprio territorio di appartenenza e collegate , allo stesso tempo, al tema conduttore del Progetto, ovvero …l'acqua.

Le foto sono state collocate in un plexiglas su un cavalletto e numerate, perché la seconda fase dell'attività è stata una valutazione ed una vera e propria votazione da parte di ciascun insegnante e studente di tutte le foto - se ne potevano individuare solo due - al fine di scegliere le più belle per un calendario comune che rappresenterà un altro dei prodotti finali del Progetto.

Al termine di questa attività, il gruppo è uscito dall'edificio scolastico ed, a piedi, ha raggiunto la vicina e famosa "Fabbrica di CANDELE" per visitarla. A piccoli gruppi e, sempre con guida in inglese, insegnanti e studenti hanno potuto vedere le diverse fasi di fabbricazione di candele di diverse forme e colore e visitare lo show-room per visionare l'intera gamma di prodotti offerti, scoprendo che, probabilmente, anche nei negozi della grande distribuzione in Italia, e non solo, abbiamo acquistato …. candele provenienti da questo stabilimento in Polonia!! Si tratta, infatti, di un impianto di trasformazione della paraffina in candele di dimensioni piuttosto significative. La trasformazione viene effettuata con macchine, ma anche in modo manuale ed impiega circa 700 persone in tre turni di lavoro giornaliero. Questa fabbrica rappresenta un grosso impianto produttivo, in grado di far fronte richieste provenienti da diversi paesi dell'Europa e non solo.

Terminata la visita il gruppo è rientrato a scuola, dove la scuola ospitante ha offerto il pranzo nella mensa scolastica, altro servizio così lontano dalla nostre comuni strutture scolastiche italiane.

Il gruppo, poi, si è diviso: gli studenti si sono recati in palestra per giochi ed attività sportive, gestite in Lingua Inglese dai Docenti di Educazione Fisica; gli insegnanti si sono riuniti per un "Comenius Meeting" nel corso del quale si è fatto il punto della situazione a proposito dello stato del Progetto, delle attività già svolte, del materiale documentario già raccolto e da raccogliere, delle prossime date di incontro a febbraio in Inghilterra ed a maggio nei Paesi Baschi, dell'organizzazione delle prossime mobilità e dei lavori da svolgere nelle proprie scuole in vista dei prossimi incontri.

Venerdì 8 ottobre.
Alle ore 8:00 insegnanti ed alunni ospiti in famiglia sono rientrati a scuola per un nuovo lavoro di gruppo: le diverse delegazioni - insegnanti ed alunni - hanno scelto, disegnato, colorato, ritagliato ed incollato su di un unico poster: immagini rappresentative e simboli della propria terra di origine. Il poster è stato poi affisso al muro ed i ragazzi a turno hanno indicato, illustrato e spiegato in inglese a tutti i docenti e studenti le immagini scelte, rispondendo alle curiosità degli ascoltatori.

In conclusione: arricchente e coinvolgente la visita e la "scoperta" della Scuola Polacca; stimolanti e curiose le attività da svolgere in Lingua INGLESE in collaborazione con altri circa 60 alunni e docenti, realizzando che, tra Italiani, Polacchi, Inglesi, Spagnoli e Turchi …. conoscere e poter chiacchierare in Inglese è ….. una bella comodità!!

Una magnifica esperienza culturale e sociale per le alunne della nostra scuola che, insieme a numerosi altri alunni provenienti dalla Gran Bretagna, Polonia e Spagna sono stati ospitati in famiglie ed hanno partecipato a diverse attività scolastiche, culturali e ricreative nell'ambito del Progetto Comenius, organizzate per loro, in Lingua Inglese, dalla Preside, dai docenti e dagli alunni della scuola polacca "Gimnazjum ZIEMI".

La Preside Elzbieta ha particolarmente apprezzato i doni della nostra scuola : una magnifica litografia del nostro territorio, realizzata e gentilmente donata dalla Prof.ssa Elisabetta PORFIDO di Arte e numerosi pacchetti di biscotti e dolci tipici, generosamente offerti dal ben noto "Pastificio VITTORI" della Famiglia DIFONZO di Santeramo in colle.

Le famiglie polacche hanno accolto le nostre alunne in casa loro con entusiasmo ed affetto, come nuovi membri di famiglia, "viziandole" con piccoli doni e salutandole in partenza per il rientro in Italia con notevole tristezza.

Si sono creati stretti vincoli di amicizia tra tutti gli alunni europei coetanei ed, in particolar modo, tra le alunne polacche ed italiane, che hanno condiviso la vita quotidiana, le lezioni ed attività scolastiche, le escursioni e le visite culturali, previste dalla Scuola ospitante per dare la possibilità a tutti gli studenti e docenti provenienti dall'estero di conoscere il loro territorio, ricco di storia, tradizione, cultura.

Una nuova esperienza umanamente e professionalmente arricchente per alunni e docenti, che evidenzia la caratteristica di base dei Progetti Europei COMENIUS : quella di mettere in contatto "scuole", ovvero … gente, popoli, culture, abitudini, modi di vita, stili, attraverso l'.."INCONTRO"

‘Environment-ally Plugged in Comenius’ UÖMO İlköğretim öğrencileri Polonya’daydı…

Ulus Özel Musevi Okulları İlköğretim öğrencileri “Environment-ally Plugged in Comenius Projesi”nin üçüncü toplantısı için 4-8 Ekim tarihleri arasında Polonya’daydı.
UÖMO İlköğretim İngilizce Bölümü’nün İngiltere, İspanya, Polonya ve İtalya‘daki okullar ile ortaklaşa gerçekleştirdiği proje Polonya’nın Krakov şehrinde gerçekleşti. Gezi boyunca İngilizceyi aktif olarak kullanan öğrenciler Auschwitz ve Birkenau Kamplarını da gezme fırsatını buldular. Farklı kültürleri tanımaya olanak sağlayan bu projelerin aynı zamanda öğrencilerin kişisel gelişimlerini de desteklediğini belirten UÖMO İngilizce Bölüm Başkanı Aylin Kan “ Bu yıl üçüncüsünü gerçekleştirdiğimiz ve ev sahibi Polonya’nın öğrencilerin keyif alabileceği tarzda titizlikle planlandığı gezi ve çalışma programında; öğrencilerimiz İngilizcelerini etkin olarak kullanabilme ve pratik yapma fırsatını buldular. Gezi boyunca ortaklaşa yapılan proje çalışmalarının yanı sıra, Krakow Old Town kısmında bulunan Jewish Quarter’ı, Sinagogu ve kampları ziyaret ettik. Yerin 130 metre altındaki Tuz Madeni’ne inerek tuzdan yapılmış heykelleri gördük. Copernik’in evini ziyaret ettik. Öğrencilerimiz ev sahibi okulda okuyan öğrencilerin evlerinde konakladılar. Bu projenin son toplantısı mayıs ayı içerisinde İspanya’da gerçekleşecek. Öğrencilerim büyük bir hevesle şimdiden çalışmaya başladı.” dedi.

Coments about our visit to POLAND

We all are back to our schools and our routine and our wonderful DAYS TOGETHER in Poland seem to be only a ...far dream !!
well, "dream" can be the right word to use... because everytime we meet somewhere, together with our students too, we always share nice moments and nice time together in the name of a real international friendship and peace!
I am sure this is the deepest aim of a Comenius Project : to allow people to meet, sharing time, thoughts, ideas, enthusiasm... improving inside
Our stay in Gniewkowo was excellent and thanks to the Headteacher Elzbieta's and to our Polish colleagues Hania and Asia's work, we succeeded also in visiting some of the most cultural and historical places in Poland, understanding deeply questions related to Polish history, too

Moreover all the school activities and all the families involved in the Project, allowed our students to enjoy a perfect stay in your country

UÖMO, farklı projelerle öğrencilerin ufkunu açıyor

Ulus Özel Musevi Okulları, öğrencilerini birer dünya vatandaşı olarak yetiştirmek adına uluslararası birçok projeye imza atmaya devam ediyor. Comenius proje kapsamındaki İspanya, İtalya, Polonya ve İngiltere’deki okullarda gerçekleştirilen ortak projeler, öğrencileri çağdaşlaşma yolunda bir adım daha ileri taşıyor
İbranice Bölüm Başkanı Marie Haleva, İngilizce öğretmenleri Aylin Kan, Lusi Yaeş ve Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmeni Nil Pinto uluslararası projelerin koordinatörlük görevini başarıyla yürütmekteler. Kültür alışverişinin öğrencilerin hayatını olumlu yönde etkilediğini ve onları çağdaş birer dünya vatandaşı olma yolunda pekiştirdiğini belirten öğretmenler projelerin ana hatlarını paylaştılar.
MARİE HALEVA
İki sene önce gelen bir telefon sonrası Reali School ile “Türkiye ve İsrail’de günlük yaşam” adlı bir proje başlattık. Amacımız öğrencilerimizin İsrail’in bilinmeyen farklı yönlerini tanımaları, oradaki yaşam hakkında bilgi sahibi olmaları ve oradaki çocukların da Türkiye’deki Yahudi yaşamını, farklı gelenek ve görenekleri tanımaları idi. Öğrencilerimiz, Reali School’daki çocuklara aktarabilmek için, fazla bilgi sahibi olmadıkları cemaatlerini de tanımış oldular. 25-30 Ekim tarihlerinde 8. sınıf öğrencilerinden on kişilik bir grup ile İlköğretim Müdürümüz Emine Kandemir’in de katıldığı bir gezi düzenledik. Hayfa’da öğrencilerin evlerinde misafir olarak kaldık. Birçok yer gezdik. Dinlerarası hoşgörünün yaşandığı bölgeleri tanıttılar. Öğrencilerimiz yeni dostluklar kurma imkânı buldular. Bu iletişimi kaybetmemek için bilgisayar ortamında üç boyutlu ortak bir program oluşturduk. Böylece sanal ortamda bile olsa arkadaşlıklar devam ediyor, bilgi paylaşımında bulunuluyor. İnşallah önümüzdeki günlerde bizler de onları İstanbul’da misafir etme imkanı buluruz.
AYLİN KAN- LÜSİ YAEŞ
Avrupa Birliği’nin “Hayat Boyu Öğrenme Programı” olan Comenius Projesi, birden fazla okulun bir arada yürüttüğü bir eğitim projesidir. İlköğretim öğrencilerimiz 2009-2011 yılları arasında İspanya, İtalya, Polonya ve İngiltere ile “Çevre ve Su” konulu bir çalışma gerçekleştirecekler. Amaç onların diğer ülkelere gitmeleri ve oralarda proje kapsamında çeşitli faaliyetlere katılmaları.
Hangi öğrenciler Comenius Projesine katılabiliyor?
6 ve 8. sınıflar arası Comenius grubunda görev almak isteyen, sorumluluk sahibi, yurt dışında kendine yetebilen, kendine güvenen, İngilizceyi iyi kullanabilen ve yeni kültürlere açık her öğrenci katılabiliyor. Sene başında panoya astığımız listeye göre öğrenciler başvuruda bulundu. Ancak bir süre sonra 16 öğrenci kesinleşti ve faaliyetlerimize onlarla devam ettik. Bu öğrenciler diğer ülkelerden gelen arkadaşlarını evlerinde misafir ettiler. İngilizceyi doğal hayatta kullanma imkanı buldular. Farklı kültürlerle tanışma fırsatını elde ettiler.
Hazırlık aşamasında neler yaptınız?
Diğer ülkelere gitmeden önce çocuklarımız birtakım çalışmalar yaparak hazırlanıyorlar. Konumuz çevre olduğu için öncelikle okulumuzda kâğıt atık toplama bilincini yerleştirebilmek adına her sınıfa atık kutuları koyduk. Başarılı olduğumuzu düşünüyoruz. Aralık ayında birbirimize Noel ve Hanuka Bayramını anlatan iyi dilek kartları hazırladık. Mektuplaşmaya başladık. Projenin ilk öğrenci toplantısı 21-26 Şubat tarihleri arasında İstanbul’da gerçekleşti. 17-21 Mayıs’ta ise, biz İtalya’ya gideceğiz.
İstanbul’daki program neleri içeriyordu?
İlk olarak okulumuzu tanıttık. Her ülke yaşadığı şehri ve okulu tanıtan bir sunum hazırladı. İlk gün Ortaköy Sinagogu ve Ortaköy Camii ziyaret edildi. Diğer günlerde konumuz su ve çevre olduğu için Kâğıthane İçme Suyu Arıtma Tesisi’ne götürdük. Ardından Yerebatan Sarnıcı’nı ziyaret ettik. Ertesi gün Türkiye’nin her köşesindeki tarihi yerleri görme fırsatı buldukları Miniatürk’e bir gezi düzenledik. Aynı gün Sütlüce’den tekneye binerek Boğazı gezdirdik.
Projenin diğer ayağı da çok dilli bir sözlük oluşturmaktı. Katılımcı ülkelerin dillerinde üç ana tema dâhilinde belirli kelimelerin bulunacağı sözlüğün çalışmalarına devam ettik. Lise öğrencilerinden bir grup hazırladıkları su temalı projeyi bizlerle paylaştılar.
Katılımcı ülkeler İstanbul’a hayran kaldılar, yemeklerimize bayıldılar. En büyük gurur kaynağımız da öğrencilerimizle gurur duymamız gerektiğini söylemeleriydi.
İtalya’da gerçekleşecek olan projenin ikinci ayağı için hazırlıklar devam ediyor mu?
Orada “Ailemiz ve çevremiz” konusu işlenecek. Öğrencilerimiz ailelerini tanıtıcı albümler hazırlayacaklar. Çevre bilincini gösteren bir poster çalışması yapılacak. Aynı zamanda “ne kadar çevreciyiz?” konu başlığı altında bir anket gerçekleştireceğiz. Her ülke bu çalışmayı yapacak ve daha sonra bir grafik hazırlanacak. Böylece bir farkındalık yaratabilmeyi de amaçlıyoruz.
NİL PİNTO
Hamburg Projesi ne zaman başladı ve ne şekilde yürütülüyor?
5 sene evvel Türkiye aşığı Alman bir öğretmen, o zamanlarda okulumuzun sosyal bilgiler öğretmeni olan Fırat Güllü ile tesadüfen tanışarak ortak bir proje çalışmasına başlıyorlar. İki etaptan oluşan bu çalışmanın ilk etabında Alman öğrenciler bizi ziyarete geliyorlar. 1 haftalık bu süreçte onlara İstanbul’u tanıtıyoruz. UÖMO olarak iki amacımız var. Uluslararası bir projenin içinde bulunmak ve tüm 7. sınıf öğrencilerimizin İstanbul’u algılamalarını sağlamak.
Tarihi İstanbul, üç dinin birleştiği İstanbul ve yaşayan İstanbul temalarını işliyoruz. Her günün sonunda okulumuza gelerek bilgisayarda çalışmalar yapıyoruz. 5. gün ise öğrenciler dört gruba ayrılarak farklı gözlerden İstanbul’u yorumluyorlar.
Projenin ikinci ayağında ise Hamburg’da günlük yaşam konusu işleniyor. 18-25 Nisan tarihleri arasında 7-8 öğrenci ile birlikte Hamburg’a gideceğiz. Öğrencilerimiz hiç tanımadıkları kültürdeki bir ailenin yanında kalarak çok farklı ve yararlı bir deneyim yaşayacaklar. Derslere girecekler, neler okutulduğunu görecekler, Alman gençliğinin günlük yaşantısını ve geleneklerini öğrenebilme şansını yakalayacaklar.
Bu projeler sizce öğrencilere ne gibi kazanımlar sağlıyor?
Öğrencilerimiz yaşadıkları şehrin günlük yaşayışı ve geçmişi hakkında inanılmaz bilgiye sahip oluyorlar. Farkındalıkları artıyor. Çocuklarımız; farklı kültürden gelen birini evinde misafir etmenin sorumluluğunu alıyor ve farklı paylaşımlarda bulunuyorlar. Değişik bir kültürü farklı açılardan görme şansına sahip oluyorlar. Ayrıca belki de en önemlisi kendilerine olan güvenleri artıyor.

I have nice memories of Turkey, the beautiful landscapes, the
colours, the new delicius food tasted, the places visited.....but,
above all, I am sure you all agree, I have wonderful memories about the
Turkish Hospitality, of what Aylin, Lusy and all their colleague have
done and organized for us..
THANKS A LOT !!
...and thanks to all the Turkish students and their families, who
have been really involved in this project of friendship, for hosting
our students such in a nice way that they really thought about being
"home" :-)
Moreover, again, as everytime we all meet somowhere, I have nice
memories of YOU ALL, of the time spent together, of all the things
shared together... breathing the usual "air" of friedship among our
countries
:-)

Coordinator's speech- Feb 21st 2010

Merhaba:

For me it’s a pleasure, once more, to visit your school.
This time I come as the coordinator of a new Comenius project. We come from very far and different countries: UK, Poland, Italy and The Basque Country.
Although our countries are so different, from time o time, they experience similar problems related to water: We can’t forget the terrible floods that Istanbul suffered at the beginning of this school year. Similar happened in England a few months ago, and, at the moment, awful rains are causing many problems in the south of Spain.

With our Comenius project we, the teachers who prepared it, wanted to make you, the students, aware of the responsibility all of us have in respecting and protecting the environment.

We, the human being, are the main reason of the global warming, and all of us have to learn to change our lifestyle in order to achieve sustainability.

Well, now, I’d like to thank all of the teachers and students that have made this visit possible. Especially to the British delegation, who, for different reasons couldn’t organize this visit in their school. And of course, to the Turkish school, who offered themselves to host this meeting in their school.

I’m sure that we are not only going to learn a lot during this week, but also have fun with your new friends.

Activities for the first term Oct-Dec 2009

I.- Inform students:
*.- About the project:
*.- Previous evaluation:
UK will prepare a blank world map. Students will write down where the different countries are.
*.- What do you know about…?:
Students will write all what they know about the different partners.(Countries, capital cities, languages, important people, sport, history, lifestyle,…)

II.- Make students awareness of the different countries:
*.Display at schools a poster exhibition:.- Pictures of the different countries.- Information about them..- …

III.- Teachers will have to investigate about ETWINNING, how it works and how it can help us in the development of our project.

IV.- Letters to the different countries: Deadline End of October.
*.- We have to send a minimum of 5 letters to each school. Students will write about their personal profiles, schools, cities. If they want they could also include their email addresses (not compulsory)

V.- Good wishes cards for Christmas/Hanukah

*.- Prepare them in November. In each card, apart from decoration, students will include information about how they celebrate these holidays

VI.- Poland will prepare the Evaluation sheet for the first term.

VII.- First mobility:
Finally we have changed the mobility to the UK
for another one to Istanbul (Updated Dec 2009)
